The article " NC Teen : Nose ring more then Fashion , it's Faith" is based on a 14 year old named Ariana Lacono that was suspended from school for having a nose piercing that was seen as her personal look but Ariana and her family claim that Arianas nose piercing is part of her religion called Body Modification. The lacono family can't understand why the school is not respecting their religion and becoming an obsticle towards Arianas education. They believe their 1st Amendment which gives all US citizens the right to freedom of religion was violated. In my point of view I think if Ariana's religion is expressed by
wearing a nose piercing no one has that right to violate her personal belief. I believe that no one should be punished because of thier geligion and values because this might be an inportant part in someones life.
